ON THE LAKE: An Evening to Celebrate 20 Years of Relationships, Trust, and Shared Vision
Against the backdrop of Lake Lugano and a beautiful spring evening, Wetag celebrated twenty years of affiliation with Christie’s International Real Estate, reaffirming the value of human relationships in an increasingly digital world.
On May 28, in the stunning setting of the Lido di Lugano, Wetag marked a particularly significant milestone: 20 years as an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate.
The event, titled ON THE LAKE, brought together approximately 140 guests, including clients, partners, friends, colleagues, representatives of the Christie’s International Real Estate network, members of Christie’s Auction House, and prominent figures from the Ticino community.
On a bright spring evening, the lake provided the perfect setting for a truly meaningful gathering, designed not only to celebrate an anniversary but, above all, to highlight what has always been at the heart of our business: relationships.
Among the distinguished guests were Helena Moyas de Forton, Managing Director EMEA and APAC for Christie’s International Real Estate; Jutta Nixdorf, Managing Director Zurich and Senior Specialist at Christie’s Auction House; and Céline Küderli, Business Development Associate at Christie’s Zurich Auction House. The evening also welcomed Christie’s International Real Estate affiliates from various markets, including Immobilsarda, Exclusive RE from Milan, and LUXIMOS Christie’s from Portugal, alongside partners and professionals with whom Wetag shares a long-standing relationship built on collaboration and trust.

The evening began around 7:00 p.m. with an aperitif overlooking the lake, followed by a convivial dinner, live music, entertainment by a mentalist, the cutting of the celebratory cake, and a DJ set that accompanied guests through the close of the event.
During his speech, Philipp Peter alongside Iradj Alexander David (Owners and Co-CEOs of Wetag) reflected on how, in a world increasingly driven by technology and digital innovation, the human value of relationships remains irreplaceable. This message resonated throughout the evening and added even greater meaning to this important anniversary.
For Wetag, these twenty years represent far more than an international affiliation. They are the result of a journey built over time, founded on trust, shared vision, local expertise, and the ability to create lasting connections between people, markets, and opportunities.
