Palm Beach, Florida (February 27, 2020) — Christie’s International Real Estate honored Wetag Consulting as winner of Affiliate of the Year in the Medium Market, a category determined by a population size between 275,000 and 1,750,000. The highly anticipated award ceremony took place last week at the culmination of the network’s Annual Global Conference in Palm Beach, Florida.

Principles Ueli Schnorf and Philipp Peter were announced as winners of the coveted crystal obelisk trophy before a crowded room of network colleagues. The evening was hosted in the grand Gilded Age estate of industrialist Henry Flagler, since designated a National Historic Landmark and museum. Charlotte Delaney, London-based Director for Christie’s International Real Estate, said: “Wetag’s printed marketing materials are of exceptional quality to perfectly represent the exceptional estates the company offers for sale. Of particular note was an event co-hosted by Wetag and Christie’s Zurich at Lugano’s new cultural hotspot, LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura museum. The private and guided tour for top real estate and art clients of Giovanni Segantini’s “Light and Landscape” exhibit culminated with cocktails in the building’s elegant courtyard. In welcoming the guests, Jutta Nixdorf, a managing director for Christie’s, commented that Switzerland is a strategic and growing hub for the art auction house, not only in Europe but globally, making the relationship with the corporation’s real estate partners all the more meaningful. All luxury brokerages enrolled in the invitation-only Christie’s International Real Estate network, spanning 49 countries and territories, are eligible for Affiliate of the Year honors. Four awards are given each year, one each in the small, medium and large market categories with the top honor bestowed to the overall winner regardless of market size. Criteria used in determining the four winners were overall business innovation, market leadership, passion to succeed in the local and global marketplace under the Christie’s International Real Estate brand and collaboration with network colleagues and Christie’s art auction house specialists.
