On Thursday, May 22, 2026, the beautiful setting of Golf Club Lugano hosted the third edition of the Golf Trophy Lugano, the exclusive event organized by WETAG and Porsche Ticino, bringing together a passion for golf, elegance, and the pleasure of sharing meaningful moments with clients, partners, and friends.

A Day Dedicated to Sport and Relationships

Surrounded by a unique natural landscape and ideal playing conditions, participants competed in a tournament characterized by enthusiasm, fair play, and true sporting spirit.

Once again, the tournament proved to be much more than a competition. It offered a valuable opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, create new networking opportunities, and strengthen both professional and personal relationships in a relaxed and refined atmosphere.

Through accurate shots, strategic play, and moments of conviviality, participants enjoyed an exclusive experience reflecting the shared values of WETAG and Porsche Ticino: passion, excellence, and attention to detail.

The event began at 1:30 p.m. with the start of the Shotgun Stableford competition and was marked by exciting moments on the course, as well as smiles, conversations, and new professional and personal connections. It was a sporting experience that successfully combined the precision of golf with the pleasure of social interaction.

In a Shotgun Stableford tournament, players start simultaneously from different holes while using the Stableford scoring system. This format is particularly popular for tournaments as it creates a dynamic and relaxed atmosphere while ensuring that all participants start and finish at the same time. The Stableford scoring system encourages players to perform their best on every hole without being overly penalized for a single poor shot.

From Competition to Social Gathering

At the end of the tournament, guests came together for a pleasant aperitif, providing the perfect opportunity to discuss the day’s performances and continue enjoying each other's company in an informal and welcoming setting.

This was followed by the awards ceremony, during which the best performances of the competition were recognized and the winners celebrated.

The evening then continued with an elegant networking dinner, bringing the event to a close in a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere, allowing all attendees to further strengthen relationships and share their passion for golf.
