Exclusive luxury real estate symposium held in Bordeaux, France brings together European real estate leaders
Mr. Schnorf / Owner, Iradj Alexander-David / Director Locarno & Ascona and Kevin Quast, Marketing & PR Manager with Wetag Consulting, attended the European Real Estate Network (EREN) member symposium, which took place 9th and 10th November in Bordeaux, France. Open only to members of EREN, an exclusive network of prestigious independent real estate companies focused on high-end property sales, the member symposium attracted professionals from across Europe. EREN Bordeaux affiliate, Maxwell-Baynes, hosted the symposium.
EREN members discussed international sales of vineyards and related sales processes, international real estate best practices, economic and political factors affecting international luxury sales, motivations of today’s ultra-high net worth clientele, and security of client data and personally identifiable information. Members also discussed how these issues affect their local markets and discussed sales projections for their markets over the next six months.
Keynote speakers included Michael Baynes, who discussed the nuanced issues related to representing and selling Bordeaux vineyards, with a specific focus on how Chinese buyers are affecting the Bordeaux market. Additionally, Miguel Juan, co-founder of S2 Grupo, one of the top security consulting firms in Europe, shared data security threats and best practices companies can take to thwart these threats. Further, Joanna Erwin, Founder/CEO of VideoProFrance, discussed video marketing strategies designed to drive client satisfaction and client engagement. Moreover, renowned vintner, Stéphane Apelbaum, Founder of Optimum Vineyard Management & Consulting, discussed the unique attributes and characteristics of Bordeaux wines and vineyards, specifically focusing on the Saint-Émilion region while leading attendees through an outstanding and educational wine tasting experience. Additional speakers included EREN Board of Directors José Ribes Bas (Owner of Rimontgó, Valencia, Spain) and Ueli Schnorf (Owner of WETAG Consulting, Lugano, Switzerland), EREN CTO, Ignacio Artagoitia de La Cruz, and EREN General Manager, Eric Bryn, Esq.
“These member gatherings consistently reinforce that our members cooperatively maintain high standards of service, work to a strict code of ethics, while maintaining individual independence to best serve international clients’ needs,” said Giancarlo Bracco, Owner of Immobilsarda SRL (Sardinia, Italy) and member of the EREN Board of Directors.
