Christie’s International Real Estate, the world’s leading luxury network, hosted its annual global business meeting with Affiliate owners, featuring a mix of formal presentations, moderated panel discussions and small group breakout sessions with attendees sharing real-time experiences and best practices in the prime real estate sector. The invitation-only event, culminated in an awards ceremony naming the network’s 2018 Affiliates of the Year at the iconic Palace of Versailles in the Gallery of Great Battles, a venue not open to the general public. The business meetings were held at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris from April 3-4, and also included a private charter on the Seine River hosted by Daniel Féau Conseil Immobilier, the exclusive Affiliate in Paris.

The conference program included guest speakers such as noted economist Dr. Elliot Eisenberg, who provided an overview of the coming year’s state of the global economy as “Slowing but Growing.” François-Xavier Hotier, President, Ulysse Nardin Americas gave an overview of luxury branding and marketing innovation. Former director for Apple University, Jeffrey Sampson, now Head of Learning & Development at Christie’s discussed “Innovation and Playing to Win,” in addition to hosting a group discussion on how to “Surprise and Delight” your clients to inspire customer loyalty.

Paris earned the distinction as “The City of Lights” for being the birthplace of the Age of Enlightenment, known as the center of education and ideas throughout the whole of Europe. The collaboration and exchange of ideas over the two days of meetings, through both guest speakers and networking opportunities, provided our Affiliates with strategies to strengthen and grow their luxury businesses using Christie’s International Real Estate to benefit their local buyers and sellers.”

Interactive panels explored such topics as “Old School vs. New School Marketing,” the current state of development project marketing and behind-the-scenes insights to Australia’s first A$100,000,000 sale. Discussion groups weighed in on managing a brokerage in today’s business environment, marketing to your sphere of influence and an update on the Christie’s International Real Estate suite of luxury services.
