Juni bietet das Kulturzentrum vier Aufführungen von Giuseppe Verdis ‘La Traviata’ in einer Installation, deren Ruhm heute Legende ist. Sie wurde 1992 im Sferisterio in Macerata konzipiert und ist auf der ganzen Welt zu sehen. In Lugano führt Henning Brockhaus die Regie, die Szenen sind von Josef Svoboda und dirigiert wird das Orchesters della Svizzera italiana sowie der Chor des Schweizer Rundfunks und des Fernsehens von Dirigent Markus Poschner. Diese Oper ist mit hervorragenden Künstlern wie Olga Peretyatko, Airam Hernández und Giovanni Meoni besetzt.

Giuseppe Verdi – La traviata
Dopo il successo de Il Barbiere di Siviglia l’opera lirica torna al LAC. Dal 17 al 24 giugno il centro culturale propone quattro repliche de "La traviata" di Giuseppe Verdi in un allestimento la cui fama è ormai leggenda: concepita nel 1992 allo Sferisterio di Macerata e rappresentata in tutto il mondo, l’opera che vedremo a Lugano si avvale della regia di Henning Brockhaus, delle scene di Josef Svoboda, ed è qui diretta dal Maestro Markus Poschner alla testa dell’Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, del Coro della radiotelevisione svizzera e di un cast di interpreti eccellenti come Olga Peretyatko, Airam Hernández e Giovanni Meoni.
Shunk-Kender - L'arte attraverso l'obiettivo (1957-1983)
1 Marzo - 30 Giugno 2020 - MASI Palazzo Reali. In marzo 2020 il MASI ospita una mostra dedicata al fotografo tedesco Harry Shunk e a quello ungherese János Kender. A partire dagli anni ‘50 Shunk e Kender diedero avvio a una duratura e fruttuosa collaborazione. Il duo documentò, principalmente a Parigi e New York, inaugurazioni, biennali, artisti all’opera nei loro atelier o impegnati in performance pubbliche. Tra gli artisti immortalati: Yves Klein e Jean Tinguely, Niki de Saint Phalle e Eva Aeppli, Jean Fautrier e Daniel Spoerri, Andy Warhol e il suo entourage, Yayoi Kusama e Trisha Brown. L’esposizione giunge a Lugano dopo essere stata presentata al Centre Pompidou.
Kamelienausstellung in Locarno
«Camelie Locarno», die Frühlingsveranstaltung par excellence, national wie international, findet im Kamelienpark von Locarno statt. Die 23. Auflage dauert vom 25. bis 29. März 2020. Jahr für Jahr lockt die Ausstellung über 6000 Besucher in fünf Tagen nach Locarno; sie zählt weltweit zu den bedeutendsten Ausstellungen, die der Symbolblume des Frühlings am Lago Maggiore gewidmet ist.

Museo d’arte della Svizzera italiana has the extraordinary opportunity of hosting a selection of masterpieces belonging to one of the most prestigious collection of the world: the Emil Bührle Collection. Comprising works of the highest quality, the collection includes paintings by some of the leading artists of the 19th and 20th century, particularly from the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist movements. Among the artists exhibited: Monet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Manet, Gauguin and Van Gogh. The MASI public will be able to admire the collection crated by Emil Bührle before it reaches its final destination at the newly extended Kunsthaus Zürich.
